Au Revoir

WOOOOOOOOO! Yeah! I hope the weather in France is better. This summer passed by in typical fashion, with lots of promise, wasted by the usual laziness that sinks in after the first week. Camp, family reunion, and DC trip were the three standout times in an otherwise dull 3 months that has made me even more excited and nervous for the next 9 months of my life. Excited because it is the first time I am spending more than 2 weeks in a different country, and nervous for the same reason. For the first time in my life I'll be living at least a little bit closer to how I've wanted to live, so either it'll be great or I'll realize I'm a naive 14-year-old who should still be reading fantasy books and leave the real adventuring to the Kerouacs and Guevaras. I plan on keeping in touch with anyone who puts in half an effort, and I'm pretty sure if you're reading this blog then you already are. I'll miss everyone, and will keep you in mind as I'm tearing up the streets of Europe/begging for change. My flight leaves tomorrow and I still have lots to pack. With that, I'll say goodbye friends, goodbye family, goodbye Obama. It's been real.
